Our Story
WalkenRehab started with a simple thought, “Care should reach people where they feel safest: their own home.”
Shiny G Rachel B, a dedicated physiotherapist who served a wide range of patients in various regions of Chennai via clinics and home visits, observed that when therapy is provided in the comfort of the pa- tient’s own home, they heal much faster and feel emotionally stronger.
Committed to increasing access to quality care, Shiny decided that physiotherapy should reach every– one, especially those who cannot make it to a clinic. With this vision, WalkenRehab was born. Today, her mission has become a shared goal for a whole team of 10+ licensed high-skilled practitioners, all dedicated to providing personalised, high-quality care.
Shiny holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Neurology) and certifications in functional taping and trigger point therapy. She stays actively involved in each case to ensure that every patient gets the highest level of at-home physio care with better outcomes.

Do you offer home physiotherapy across Chennai?
Yes, WalkenRehab provides home physiotherapy services across multiple specialities and locations, including Anna Nagar, Adyar, Tambaram, Velachery, Perambur, T. Nagar, OMR, and even the outskirts of the city.
How long is each physiotherapy session?
The best way for patients to determine their out-of-pocket costs in advance of obtaining services is to contact their insurer, whether that is a commercial health insurance company, Medicare or a state Medicaid program (for non covered services).
Are your physiotherapists qualified and licensed?
With the exception of co-payment amounts, REHAB expects payment within 30 days of the billing date shown on your statement.
Do you provide neurological rehabilitation for seniors?
Patients who are challenged with payments or cannot pay their bill in full should contact a Patient Financial Services representative at (808) 544-3340 to discuss available payment options.
